Understanding our starting point
Every organisation is different, which is why we start by evaluating your current strategy practices across eight critical dimensions - from clarity of direction through to execution discipline. This assessment (using our online tool at reqlarity-tools.io) gives us all an understanding of your starting point, highlighting both your current strengths and the areas where focused attention will create the greatest impact.
From there, you'll identify what's most important for your organisation and what outcomes we'll prioritise. This means that while our approach is proven, how we apply it builds on your existing strengths and focuses specifically on your biggest opportunities for impact.
Our approach
workshop 1: capture & challenge
We'll surface your current strategy by bringing all the strategic choices you have made together in a coherent form. Here we identify which choices are working harmoniously and which might be holding you back. We define the necessary conditions for your current strategy to succeed.
The second half focuses on the future. We agree your most pressing strategic problems before diving into the creative work - designing strategy options. There's never just one possible solution, nor one right solution - there are only better and worse.
Finally, we create the discovery and testing plan, assigning owners and setting the date for Workshop 2.
discovery & testing (weeks 2-4)
Time to separate fact from fiction and replace hopes and hunches with sound logic. We'll test the likelihood of necessary conditions coming to pass and put your most worrisome assumptions under the microscope. The insights and evidence gathered here inform the choices we make.
workshop 2: choices & winning aspiration
Armed with new insights, we'll select your winning strategy and define your winning aspiration. We'll document strategic choices and create the plan that brings your winning strategy to life.
coaching & alignment (weeks 6-10)
Fortnightly check-in and coaching sessions with your leadership team stress-test choices in the real world, align priorities, and ensure your strategy supports confident and aligned day-to-day decision-making.
finalisation & capability building (weeks 11-12)
You'll finish with a clearly articulated strategy your people can access whenever they need it, plus the methodology to keep it fresh and responsive.
Optional - we offer a re-assessment of your strategy practices at agreed intervals as a means of tracking your progress for 12 months post-completion.
